Actually, if the songs on ur iPod are out of order, it probably because the songs in ur library are in that same order, all you need to do is change the order of the songs in library to the way you want it and the next time you update your ipod it should correspond.

All you have to do is plug ur iPod in.. Go to iPod's settings unclick "Display Album Art in iPod" and OK (it automaically updates it) it will delete all your album arts off your iPod, go back to iPod settings then click "Display Album Art in iPod" then OK, wait till it completes the update then Voila! ur problem is solved! The album arts are back in there places again....

This can be managed in your iTunes prefs.
First check the iPod prefs. Plug in your iPod.
Click on the iPod in iTunes. Click on 'Music' in the iPod pref window.
One check-box is 'Selected Playlists' that will let you control your iPod exactly.
One check-box is 'Manually manage music.' This should let you do it your way.
In the iPod 'Music' prefs, you can select which playlists to use.
In the iTunes prefs in 'Advanced' you can try changing the 'Keep iTunes folders organized.' But I recommend that you let iTunes organize the music automatically.
