what happen to roy on america hot rod how did he die?

I loved this guy from the first time I say the show.
I beleave he had a heart attack.
Roy was a real card and for my money gave the show what it lacked a guy that had fun at what he did and was not affread to tackle whatever it was . I feel he made the show and will be truly missed not only by the show but buy all his fans ( including me)
There are other people that are on the show I would love to see gone but then that is the show
With a tear in my eye He will be missed

He had lung cancer and passed away 1 week after his wife and soul mate Laura passed away.
