I heard the Southside is nice. I am in my mid-20's and I want to be in a safe but trendy place. I am looking to rent an apartment not buy so if anyone has names of nice places. Let me know, thanks!

I lived in Southside - there are several nice apartments right on Southside Blvd at decent prices (I forget the name of my apartment complex, but it was at 7524 Southside Blvd). I actually found it using an apartment finder service (wish I could remember the name!). Those services are free and _very_ helpful.

florida, i presume? riverside is hip and up and coming. most parts of jacksonville seem to just be strip malls and chains
