they were the ones who started a form of gonvernment where there are 3 counter-balacing parties which are widely used today in democracies. In the USA for example, you have the Presidency vs the Congress vs the House of Representatives.
In Roman times, it was the Senate vs the Consuls vs the (Can't remember the body).
Roman philosophy & laws are largely drawn from Greek ideas as espoused by Plato in his "Republic" & shown in Cicero's "Republic". Even today, laws are based on what is "natural" & what's not.

First of all it is the love for music that makes my life special, as it is always been an integral part of it. My Mother is an opera singer and since I was in her belly, I was surrounded by sounds and notes. She took me to Rome and Vienna with her while she was studying there, so that was important. Later on she made me study piano as well, which gave me an ample musical education and love for classical music. My Dad also loved classical but also Jazz and introduced me to that genre, which I also love to this day. Since I was around 8 I started to listen to Pop and Hard Rock, Disco and from age 10 added Pink Floyd and all the other bands that today are called Progressive Rock. Then I moved to Mexico and included Latin tunes which I adore as well. So I guess my cosmopolitan upbringing is totally projected in the way I relate to music and other things. I am extremely eclectic for most things in my life, when it comes to art or cuisine. I brought up my 3 daughters in the same way, they are all very eclectic music lovers and the youngest even wants to pursue a music career. Lately because of the love for music I stumbled on this place (R&P), connected with a man that impressed me at first solely because of his vast knowledge and intense passion for music ( r&p Reg Smiley ). Well he blew my mind etc ( :D )..... I traveled all the way from Mexico to Canada to meet him and now we are living together. So as you see....music is very fundamental in my life and I guess the fact that I am musically all over the place makes me different than most persons I have met so far.

They created the idea of total democracy then it got taken away by an emperor and it went off and on that exactly were are country is headed we will in are life time have a king or emperor controlling are country its a slow process but it will happen unless there is an armed up rising
