Is it possible or practical to synchronize the calenders of a Motorola Rzr cell phone and a Palm PDA? I suspect it can be done by going through Outlook, but I'm not even clear on how to do that -- and I hoped there might be something simpler.

Theoraticaly speaking yes.. why not try what you suggested..

1- Sync device "A" with outlook using it's supplied sync software

2- Sync device "B" with outlook using it's supplied sync software

3- Sync device "A" again with outlook inorder to have the device load the new set of data that was added after device "B" is sync'ed.

Do step 3 only if both devices initialy contain seperate sets of data. The repeat the process everytime you need to sync or update your devices...

Confused??? So was I when I got my first Palm then got a Pocket PC a mere one month later and I needed to keep booth updated with similar addressbooks and calendars on both devices.... but this steps do work for the Razr phone too.. my wife has one and we need to keep a common calendar and phonebook for her and my Treo 650...

If both have Bluetooth or IrDA it is going to be tremandously easier, I've got no Razr so can't say that if it got either BT or Infrared.

There are standards that both follow with respect to Contact Lists and other PIM items.
