Have any of you ever known a woman, or perhaps you've experienced it yourself, that continued to have her period as normal for a month or two at the beginning of, what later turned out to be, a pregnancy?

I'm not referring to miscarriage or slight spotting, I mean what appeared to be run-of-the-mill period.

Having periods during the first stages of pregnancy has become quite common, my sister had hers until she was 12weeks and another of my sisters had hers until she was 16weeks. If you have any concerns about you or the babies health speak to the nurse at you clinic or if you can't get an appointment speak to the health visitor there, it will also give you a chance to meet her before she visits after the birth.
