It really depends on the state or city you live in.In the small GA. town i live in you wouldn't even be arrested for carrying a handgun (even loaded) unless you were committing some other crime.GA. law says you have to have a permit and the gun must be visible, but 20 miles away in AL. you have to have a permit and the handgun must be concealed. odd huh? but in either place the laws are not really enforced unless there is some other reason. You certainly couldn't take one to school, but in your vehicle no problem. The second amendment does still exist right?

I don't know where you live, but in Michigan, carrying a concealed weapon is an automatic TWO(2) year prison sentence. I haven't looked up what it be for a juvenile, here in good ole Michigan, their getting into the habit of charging and trying juveniles as an adult for certain offenses. From what I've seen, unless you're seven(7) or eight(8), carrying a gun qualifies. They have a nasty habit of charging any adult that's present as well. If the minor in question took the weapon from home, they might charge the parents too. Hope this helps..............LATER....

It depends on the location. Most states have explicit laws about such things. For example, VA has a law that says that all weapons must be revealed at all times (open carry laws). If you want to conceal it, you need a permit. You'll be committing a felony if you are carrying a deadly weapon though. Many laws are tightening up on minors, so no, you would most likely be charged with a felony, illegal possession of a deadly weapon, conspiracy to assault w/ a deadly weapon, etc.

If its in a school I think it will be much more than a wrist slapping.
