I wish that more math had been offered. When I got to college, I started a calculus class, only to find that out of the 65 students enrolled in it, I was one of only FIVE whose high schools hadn't offered calculus. Never did catch up.

When I was in high school I enjoyed the curriculum that was offered, however, I have always felt that the curriculum is geared towards students that are academically strong. If you struggle with or are bored by academics the curriculum fails you.

It is necessary to be aware that some students will not be interested in learning about Shakespeare, poetry, alegebra, history etc. These students need an alternative to "book smarts" and learn a practical skill such as mechanics, plumbing, hair dressing or other professions that the student learns through doing and becoming an apprentice. Education should be rewarding for all students.

Not my secondary school, but a lot of the ones around my neighborhood that I have friends go to. They have any where from 1 to 2 foreign languages available. My high school offers 3 up to the 4th year. (Japanese with Spanish and French) and I think we should even get more. A more variety of languages really give a more diverse language to the school. Like Esperanto or Italian, those would definitly be good languages to have available.
