Well, if there was such a thing as "the good old days," it had to have ended when fedora hats went out of style and people stopped wearing them.

September 11, 2001.

Now before you hate on me, hear me out, I am not being political here.

I'm just saying...that God-Awful morning was the day. It was the day I really became aware of just *how far* people will go to kill each other and to ruin each other's lives and to see to it that Human Civilization comes to a crashing halt.

Before then, I was still feeling some hope for the New Economy and the promise of the 21st century.

No more. People are just too violent, and too hung up on being herd animals and wanting to see the world come to an end.

That is when the good old days ended for me. When the 21st century died.

And I won't go into whether it was a stillbirth or an abortion or what, just that on that day, it seemed to me like folks were out to kill the future, and well, they got the job done. I get it.

The good old days end at a different time for different people.

One ending point would be when the person takes on an overwhelming amount of responsibility and has to struggle from now on to keep up.

At that point the good old days ended for that person.

At the risk of sounding like a female chavinsit pig..l would have to say when the feminist movement began. Not saying that women should be at home, pregnant and barefooted where they belong..,but there is nothing wrong with women that choose to do so and raise their children away from day care.It seems alot of women want to have children and a career and dump their children off at day care..,then complain when husband doesnt help with chores, clean up after himself etc..,Alot..,no all, women put themselves before their husbands and in some cases their own children.Men are no longer men..,feminist movement have pussified men as they have to be more considerate of their feelings..,when most are just spoiled brats and want the world to revolved around them. Not a bible thumper..,but the bible does say that the man should have the headship..,that is no longer the case. The feminists have complicated the simple life..,but we cant turn back time..,however I do believe it is fading and the good old fashioned women are coming back that want to take care of thier hard working husbands and thier children. Here comes the hate mail..,but thats my opinion.

-When you have something less now than what was your good time.
I would say about the age of 19 is when the process
becomes visible and ends up being good old times after you reach the recognition of having been.

The good old days are gone when you look at something and you go "uhm, wtf?"

For example, When I went to engineering school we were the last class in our university to train just in paper based technical drafting. All classes that followed us trained in computer aided drafting, that was one of my first wtf moments.

Another one was when I realized that half of the uniform styles in the US Army have changed since I left the service in 1997. Or when I realized that I now earn in two days what I got paid every two weeks as a private first class back in 1992.
