you can't really cure it, it's an allergy.
get an allergy test and avoid all the things he is allergic to..
i found out i was allergic to my feather pillow..

I feel your pain. I've had asthma for 14 years now and have seen several doctors. The truth is, there is no known cure for asthma at the moment. But the symptoms can be prevented. It really depends on what causes your brother's asthma. Mine is usually dust and hot weather. But I think the universal method is using the control inhaler.

If he has symptoms only infrequently it may be enough to have a rescue inhaler (albuterol) If he has symptoms like wheezing on a regular basis he needs additional medication. Advair works very well for me and completely controls my asthma
