Da Bears. Their defense dominated last season, and already they registered 1 shutout and have given up only 7 points in 2 weeks. There are many other great defensive teams, but since the Bears were #1 last year, and they have all of their starters back, they should repeat this year, especially since the offense is picking up and taking some of the pressure off of them to win games singlehandedly.

Well...Baltimore, Chicago, and San Diego have certainly made a case for themselves...but Pittsburgh, Seattle, and Atlanta are actually still making themselves known.
I'm gonna go on a limb and say San Diego will be the best...they were #1 against the run last season...so maybe they can step up against the pass also.
