if you perform a experiemnt and find that the resutls dont agree with the theory is there something wrong with your experiment?

no. On your paper you should say "My experiment did not support my hypothesis." That is what your teacher would expect.

Perhaps.

1) It could be poor experimental design, bad data collection, bad operationalization of your theoretical concepts, testing done outside of scope conditions defined by your theory, etc.

2) It could be that your theory is not supported by the evidence.

no your hypothesis is just wrong. it doesnt make the experiment wrong
