I have rooted for both teams since I was a kid, so I keep track of them both pretty closely (yes, that one superbowl was weird to watch). So far the Patriots are the better team (I live in Philly now).
Last Sunday showed the major difference between the teams; when the going is good, Philly fools around but the Pats don't. No swaggering, chest bumping, chicken dances or drawing a false start by rushing up to the center. They just play football.
Andy Reid will freeze when his teams starts to get wolloped. His play calling to kill the clock was awful; the line crumbled each time, burying Westbrook after two steps. But the Patriots were much better at killing the clock, they kept getting Corey Dillon a few yards each play, grinding away.
Both teams have been better; the Eagles can be so hot for brief periods. But Bellichick is the better coach, smarter, more imaginitive and it shows.
Ironically both teams have problems in the secondary. The Eagles D line is awesome, but when they get tired the secondary can't keep up. The patriots lost a bunch of their secondary a couple of years ago (I miss Ty Law and Lawyer Malloy!) and are still catching up. The Eagles sorely miss Bobby Taylor and Troy Vincent, too.
I expect SF to suffer next week at the hands of the Eagles; the Eagles blew one to the Titans a few years back and ran up the score the next week. The Patriots will methodically go into each game, always a close one.

Well, after seeing the Eagles crumple like a paper cup on Sunday I'll go with the Patriots. Their week 1 win was against Houston - a gimmie, so at this point they haven't shown us ANYTHING yet.

patriots are the much extra constructive team the eagles are no longer something yet hype this season signed over 12 loose brokers generally great names on protection and as u can see they do no longer look to be producing the numbers all people concept they have been gonna whilst they stated they are like the warmth a dream team yea that dream team didnt bypass everywhere purely like they arnt going everywhere choke artist and andy reid is gonna lose his pastime simply by fact there gamers cant get exceeded the hype of ways great they think of they are

As a Patritots fan...I'd have to say that our team is performing at a level that doesn't neccessarily prove without a doubt that we're better than anyone...but at the same time, we did strip the Eagles of a Super Bowl ring.

I truly believe the Eagles are a better team. Now that Tom Brady has lost most of his offensive weapons, his true colors are showing...
