If attaches were planned & thwarted by the intelligence community we would never know. The failures of intlligence we have to live with.
If they told us of what they thwarted in may ways they would be telling the other side both how & who was involved. Those resources would no longer be available.

They haven't attacked us because they know that if they do while Bush is president they will be kicked in the a$$ so hard they will have to use Preparation H to cure their ear aches. CAn you prove he hasn't stopped an attack? No you can't you can only attack, insult, putdown and deride the government that gives you the freedom to do so. Kerry's record as a liberal Democrat who would lie to the Congress and the military to further his own career in politics is all the proof I need to know he could not handle the events of 9-11 nor the War against Islamic fanatic facist terrorists with anywhere near the results as Bush has. Gonig into Iraq has created a magnet to Al Queda types who want a chance to attack Americans and it is better that they foolishly try to harm ther military then to come here and attack us. I don't say we may not be attacked again but what will you do if we are just blame the President or would you finally see these terrorists for what they are and get behind your government against them?

Only by the absence of attacks. But then again, foreign terrorist attacks on US soil have been consistently 7-9 years apart, going back to the early 1970s, so I don't give him too much credit for not blowing the statistics and having an attack sooner than average.
Now, if we go another six years with him in office (and haven't all committed suicide or been imprisoned by then)....
