WE can't say what kind of power you'll be making this is too vague. Cam specs, headers? what intake? ignition? fuel delivery? size of carb? what heads?

Just using a generic guess you're probably making around 300-320hp at the fly, and i'm guessing it's a bit lower than this. So at the wheels you are probably layinhg down around 270-290 at the wheels.
You can change a lot of things. The easiest way to understand how to make power is to thing of an engine as a large air pump. The more air you can flow the more power you can make. Ther are 3 things that allow an engine to run, air, fuel and spark. You need to balance out these things. First you need a good ignition system. It's good you have a 350, the parts are cheap and easy to find. Things you can do is to up your compression ratio. This can be achieved in lots of ways, the two easiest and most effective ways are to change heads, to a smaller chamber head, or change pistons, to create a smaller area in which the combustion occurs. Don't go above 10:1 for a daily driver, and 11:1 is really pushing it for street gas, this area you'll probably see detonation unless you run race gas.
There are lots of ways it's too vast to put a lot of them here. there are plenty of good resources out there, do some googling and ask questions on message boards.

Too little information to determine. 350 bored? Compression ratio? Cam specs? length of carb? form of intake? Head layout? and so on.... RV cams are often torque boosters, decrease rpm for towing, providing you with hp and torque at decrease rpm's the place you prefer them once you're towing a load. it is needed tournament each thing, not purely throw issues at the same time and desire for the best. i'd say you're working decrease compression, 8.5 or 9:a million assuming you're working on pump gas. At best a twin airplane manifold.... i'd say greater or less 275hp-325 hp. so a approaches as increasing hp... how extreme/low is your budget? Matching factors would not fee any further than mismatched factors. Matching factors ought to take you up yet another one hundred hp rather in case you recognize what you prefer. superb tuning will deliver it up greater. you could superb song what you have and in all risk benefit hp without spending too plenty if something. If its hp you prefer, then i'd recommend matching the cam and carb/intake setup, and determine interior the tire length kit ratio and bodyweight of the motor vehicle. form of tranny consequences the way all of it works at the same time, so watch that too. Friction steals hp. unlock some hp by potential of going with an electric powered fan, electric powered gas pump and doubtless even an electric powered water pump. Porting and sprucing your heads will permit the engine breath, and it is a few thing you're able to do your self. curler rockers additionally benefit a sprint as there is plenty much less friction contemporary. undergo in concepts, you frequently get what you pay for, you pay a affordable fee for a affordable area. not constantly, via fact there are solid deals accessible, seem for them. in case you run bigger than 9:a million compression, seem for a water injection gadget. I easily have used them interior the previous and that they do artwork very properly. you would be able to prefer octane booster or a decrease rated racing gas to maintain the knock out, racing gas suited now could be $6-8 a gallon, octane booster addative will turn your $2.50-3.00 gas into $6 a gallon gas too, so as that would not be too functional. %. up a race form magazine, or purely get a e book on engines. there are any such super form of loose tricks to gaining hp. How can 2 human beings have a 350 sbc, one having 3 hundred hp and the different 500 hp? ordinary, matching factors, understanding some tricks and putting in a sprint time. each and each engine expenditures related to the same. so a approaches as factors bypass....

After market heads would work great with this set up 11:1 compression, you'd have to run 93 octane.
