I love libraries.
They are the only institution left in this country that still provides free services-exchangable books, and many other items and it is a place that is quiet in the midst of a cities chaos. When libraries go under or start charging then we will know that the end of the world is very near!

I LOVE this question....and the answers that I have read so far!

Here are a list of mine:

I love the moment right before I fall asleep at night, when I am very relaxed and a floaty feeling slips through me.
I love the feel and smell of a baby being cradled in my arms (and this isn't breaking the rule: I love the FEELING)
I love to hear the uninhibited giggles of a toddler or a child.
I love chocolate...especially brownies fresh from the oven, with a tall, cold glass of milk to wash it down.

I love the feeling of being loved and loving another person... jk
All joking a side... I love books, movies, music, games, camping, and being a bit of a jokester. I love trying new cultural foods, playing pool, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing with family. I love the awesome mountains in Alberta, and B.C.. I love all the cool memories... Skiing in the mountains, the hot air balloon ride, going up in a Huey, scuba diving (even if it was only in a pool), repelling Aussie style. I love life.

I love the sound of a steel guitar, the rumble of a racecar's engine, the smell of wood smoke, fresh mowed grass, the kick of my shotgun and the smoke of the gunpowder, the feel of the wind and rain during a storm.

What? Philosophically....
I'd say we love the thoguht of something
Whether it's inatimate or not
I guess in a way people are just searching for something to hold on to, fill in the empty space.
