Without a shadow of a doubt - Brasil was, still is and will remain as the #1 team in the world. They are the Best of the best. Portugal also has got some fine players such as Figo who has retired. Deco is also talented . As far as Brasil goes, every player in the Brasilian team is a star cos only the Best players play for this team although my personal favorites are Ronaldinho, Kaka, Ronaldo. The best soccer player currently is RONALDINHO GAUCHO!

Personally Brasil, there history is much greater, and there always on top, Portugal, as far as a team have grown immensely over the last few years, but go figure when you get a brasilian coach, and a brasilian player that gets portuguese papers "Deco", i dont think you will ever see a foreign coach coaching brasil, and you will never see a foreign player playing on the brasilian national team......

Kaka at this moments. Ronaldinho is the best individual player (of course he can pass, too), but Kaka is the playmaker, which is my favorite. As for portugal, I think Deco is pretty damn good, but a cheater will always be a cheater under Scolari....

It's Portugal since they are always drawn alongside tough opponents and Brazil are given soft opponents simply because they a FIFA member.
