World war 1 was caused because all the countrys in europe started building allianced with eatch other and eventually one country attacked another and they all wen tto war..it was fought in trenches and used new weapons of the age..after the defeate of the centeral powers they imposed harsh laws on germany called the treaty of versaillies..this eventaully caussed the germans to want a new governemtn and adolf hitler rise to power..he wanted to expand is reich t last a 1000 years..it was found all over the world even in asia..japan was invading manchuria and sided with german yand italy and attacked the united states bringing them into the war..which caused the 2nd world war.

There was a war between Austria and Serbia in 1914. Germany was supporting Austria and France, USA,Russia were supporting Serbia. Germany was badly defeated . This war ended in 1918 ........in 1939 Germany annexed Poland. This started war between France and Germany and Hitler I.e Germany was again defeated and this ended in 1945. Hope I helped...... Even I was facing same confusion but now Iam so clear.
