Not that anyone here *wants* a serious, earnest answer, but here goes:
Plato said it best. "What you think of, you will become."
So...what have the Conservatives been thinking about and harping on quite openly and publicly in the Media, to *great* public approval for the past 26 years or so...?
Political correctness. The abuse of slogans, as a replacement for independent, critical thought. Censorship as policy, groupthink as political platform.
So yeah, it stands to reason, if you *obsess* over something for 26 years straight, you're going to know your subject really *really* well. Maybe too well.
Maybe so well that you end up *doing just that* when it all hits the fan.
Really. Now that the CEO Media is by and large in the palm of the Neocon's hand...what happens?
Everybody takes their talking points from Fox News and *Nobody* has one clue what plagiarism is, or what *having your own idea* is.
"What you think of, you will become." That simple.
It's P.C. all over again, only now it's coming from the same people it's *historically* been coming from since the reign of Woodrow Wilson, and the aberration of it coming from the left has more or less ended....for now anyway. :p
