i get whistles and comments all the time when i'm walking down the street, and it's really gross. i dress modestly, so it's not like i'm asking people to check me out. we really don't appreciate it! if you really like a girl, talk to her respectfully, and show that you appreciate her for more than her boobs or her *** or her face.

A lot of guys don't have the courge to ask a cute girl out. A lot of time, I get stared at, touched, whisled at, ect. Things like this discust me and make me never want to leave the house. When a guy does that do they expect a good reaction? Do they expect for a girl to turn back and say hey baby? When I am out dancing or drinking boys assume we are looking for love, i just want to dance but am pretty consistantly offered drinks and numbers. I like a guy who ASKS me to dance and doesn't just bang aginst me with pelvis out of nowhere.
I'd say i get hit on a daily basis, but not asked out, as often.
Theres a total difference between the two.
But some boys are very polite and nice, i had to add that because I pretty much bashed em just now

I've my share of admirers but being I'm such a homebody... therefore I've no chance of gettin' hit on.
However, I don't get the deal with guys who make cat calls or wolf whistles or even openly gawking at me, it's gross to say the least. It's not like I'm OTT when I get dressed, if anything I'm rather conservative.
It's flattering, I guess... other times, I just feel like a fish in an aquarium, not the most comfortable feeling in the world, lol.

I used to and it was annoying as hell. I'm the kind of person that just doesn't go out with people I do know. I like to develop a friendship first (that is how my relationship with my husband started). Now that I have a ring, I don't get hit on anymore (YAH!!!) but I still get checked out which makes me feel violated. I know what men are thinking when they check me out and it is gross.

Yes I do even when I am with my fiance. He finds it funny and cute and would kiss me or something in front of them to get them jealous :) its sooo adorable when he does that.

I think its more of a city thing, living in Boston now i get hit on constantly, whenI go back home to NYC I get hit on constantly, when i am traveling to the suburbs or the country i rarely do get hit on.

In my early 30's and a college student-- I am beautiful, self confident, and an introvert. Since I am a nerd, I get asked a lot to "study together" specially younger guys who do not dare ask me out on a date, however I can tell they like me sometimes I hear, I'm going to get something to eat would you like to join me?

Sometimes I feel my looks intimidate men. I am 5' 6" tall.

Yea, I do. I'm a bartender & a waitress. Sometimes (I stress the "sometimes") it goes with the job, other times--ugh! I've had my experiences with older men when they're drinking-they are nasty! Most are really nice - but I work in an atmosphere that doesn't really attract the local schmocals, as you would say. I'm not saying this was my first job either........so, I've had my share.

I used to find it flattering, but sometimes it makes me feel like a piece of meat! Some men just don't have a clue how disgusting they really are!
