You do not have to listen to gospel music but if it is something that is a part of your everyday life then you may end up listening to more than someone who is not Christian. You can pretty much listen to any kind of music you choose and you would also be surprised that many other genres of music rock pop or country also have religious themes.

Im a christian and i dont listen 2 gospil only in church its not a sin cause you dont like that kinda music i listen 2 rap

It depends on the church you go to. Some churches are pretty strict and will say that any music that's not a song of praise to God is a song of praise to the devil. However, a few churches are less strict about what their members listen to.
They seldom say you have to listen to gospel music, but they often say you're likely to go to hell if you listen to secular songs.

You mean Gospel music? No you don't have to listen to gospel music. I didn't start listening to it until I became an adult.

No, but, considering the kinda music thta is out there besides gospel, it's not a bad idea..
Of course, you can listen to wertnot, or whatever his name is, and sit in hell with him..

u dont HAVE to listen to it, but then u shouldnt listen to any music that talks about screwing some hoe or worshiping the devil or cutting ur wrists....hallelujah, peace
