The G-20 is a 3/4 ton van, the oil fill should have an extension that brings it out towards the front of the engine compartment, on the driver's side.. Transmission depends on whether it's an automatic or a manual, automatic fills through the dipstick tube, also extended to the front of the vehicle (passenger side) Manual transmission fills from a plug halfway up the transmission gearbox housing, I believe on the driver's side, accessible only from underneath. Photograph can be found in the first chapter of most repair manuals, see Haynes or Chilton's. Manual transmission fill photo in manual transmission chapter of same book.

The 2.8L was prone to headgasket failure and oil leaks. Even if that doesn't become an issue, it is a very underpowered engine in the S10 Blazer and it drinks gas horribly for such a smaller V6. If you must get an S-10 Blazer, consider a later model (1988 or newer) with the 4.3L V6. That is a very reliable engine and while the mpg didn't change too much, you'll at least have the power to justify it. I'm an import guy but I know that the 4.3 is a good engine. It's basically a chopped 305 GM engine with 2 less cylinders and smaller pistons.

there is no diagram that clearly states the position of the fluids but the oil goes in the under the hood near the rad marked "engine oil" and the trans fluid goes in the one that more than likly has red dipstick on it

You have to be kidding, right? I could tell you exactly where it goes, but darn I can't seem to lay my hands on an almost 30 year old diagram, and that rules me out for the big 10 points, so I don't guess I really know what to tell you! Good Luck!

you don't need a diagram...the engine oil goes in the right valve cover...the tranmission oil goes in the tube where you check the transmission oil...it's on the driver's side at the rear of the engine.
