I prefer the terms:
Minister, or
Pastor, or
Teacher.
Priest is also appropriate for Catholics and Episcopalians, and maybe others.
No offense intended, I just think they imply different things than Preacher.

Of the TV preachers...I have little respect for the vast majority of them.
Of preachers in general, I believe they are as varied of ideology and knowledge, of love of God and their calling as there are people.
But I respect those that choose to live a life dedicated to God, and spreading His word.

I think they are in it for the money.
It is more a social thing for people then actually wanting to do good or learning about god.
