f(x) is the reciprocal of g(x), thus f(x) * g(x) = 1

Thus: ((f*g)-(g*f))(x) = ((1) - (1))(x) = 0x = 0

the function would be written as
((x)/(x+1)*(x+1)/(x)) - ((x+1)/(x)*(x)/(x+1))(x)

this is because where you see an f, you subsitute the f(x) function which is (x)/(x+1) and where you see a g, you substitute the g(x) function which is (x+1)/(x).

this is as far as you can go due to no numerical values given it must be left in variable form

Good Luck in Math!
