To the Parole Board,
My grandfather __________(his name here) deserves a second chance. He deserves a good life. If he were to get out of prison, he would have a place to live, he would be well taken care of, I would help him find a job and I would also keep him on his feet. I work so hard already just to help him and he isn't even out of jail. I would hope that you could understand my delima here and let my grandfather on parole. He is a good man and has a good heart. Please understand that he is a part of my family and he has the opportunities to make new start for himself. Doesn't every one DESERVE a second chance after every mistake they make? Well, my grandfather does. He had paid enough for his mistakes. So please let him go on parole so he at least has a chance of getting out fo prison

sincerely
(your name here)

sorry if it is too short or not good enough. I don't really know your grandfather well enough to help you out as much as i usually could.

I believe that your note here is on the right track. Just use ms word and spell check when writing your letter to the board. You don't suck at sentence structure, we all understood what you were trying to say. Just the spelling needs a little attention. THAT is why programs have spell checker, everyone has a problem now and then with spelling. The most important thing will be to be honest with the details you want to present to the parole board.

To the Parole Board:
My grandfather, Wayne Lawson, is up for parole. He's paid his debt to society and, I believe, is ready to become a productive citizen. Though he's had his difficulties in the past he is now a devoted Christian that wants to straighten out his life. With my help and the help of those that love him we can show the world that prison does not just punish but, in fact, rehabilitates. I can provide food, shelter and clothing for him (I work and have a car) and help him find a job. He is ready to be the good man God wants him to be. Please give him a chance. I miss him so much and am prepared to help him become someone we all can be proud of. Thank you.

Just keep it simple. Something like this:

To the Parole Board:

I am writing on behalf of Wayne Lawson, who is being considered for parole on (whatever the date). I am his granddaughter. I am writing to inform you that if you release Mr. Lawson, he will be able to live with me and I can provide him with food and help in finding a job while he works at getting back on his feet. I am convinced that my grandfather has repented of his crimes and I am willing to give him whatever support he needs. I am ____ years old and I have been employed at _____________ for ___ years. I sincerely hope that you will grant parole to Mr. Lawson so that he can return to a productive life in society. I will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you have about my ability to support Mr. Lawson during this time of transition.

Sincerely,

Your name

I hope this is helpful.

I really don't know what all to tell you. I think that instead of asking everyone else for help you shoul just write down the way that you feel, then maybe you can ask someone that you actually know to look over the spelling and grammar for you...but at least you would be able to walk out knowing that the letter that got your grandfather out of jail was a letter form your heart, and not someone else's mind.

IN THE MIST OF IT ALL, I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK.

AND YOUR GRANDFATHER

I cannot write you letter for you, but if you do it on your computer just use your spell check and grammar check. that will help you out a lot. Also when you are done or think you are done writing it, read it out loud to make sure it sounds like you want it to. It is amazing how it looks ok on paper but once you read it aloud it is not what you had intended. Good luck!

you do not need help. you need to keep the letter short and sweet. say what you did in the first paragraph. you do not need to say anything else. keep it in your own words, it has more meaning like that. they will be able to tell how heart felt it is whether you spell a word right or not. good luck
