Amino acid sequence?

Is the chart you use to detirmine what amino acid sequene meant for dna or rna. For example if you had GTC dna sequence would you use the chart like that, or you you have to convert it to rna like CUG or GUC?

It depends on your chart. Are there there U's on it? If so convert if not don't
