Try either of the sites below.
First will tell you of famous people born on your Birthday. The second will tell you some of the historic things that happened on that date.

Google is a great place to start. Just type the day, and year if you only want your birth year, and you should get some fun results. Also, Great Britian's largest news network, the BBC, has a GREAT site that is called "On This Day" where you can look up any date to see what has happened on that day in the past.
