Write down all of the things that you have to do. Put an A beside each one that is most important, B beside those that can wait a little bit, and a C beside the things that can wait. Then, take all of your A's and prioritize them in order of numbers, such as A1, A2, A3 then the Bs, B1, B2, B3, then the C's. Wallah! There's your priority list.
May I suggest the FOCUS class by Franklin Covey or the 7 Habits Class as well. That is where you learn the sklls of planning. They gaurantee you will gain at least 3 hours a week of free time.

I prioritize by due date. The item with the earliest due date is first priority. Of course, this depends on what type of occupation it is, and how difficult each task is.
If you're using this to fill out an interview questionnaire, I'd say, "I always communicate with my boss about which project is highest priority."

The most important tasks should be completed first. After you've completed them, the smaller ones will fall into place. Prioritizing your work load will also increase your efficiency ;)

Well, I do what needs to be done the soonest first. No sense worrying over that later on. Then, I focus on completing everything else that must be done soonest. Take a few breaks to keep your sanity and work until everything you wish to accomplish is done.

Set them in order of importance, relax & ponder a bit, then go go go! Never put off until tomorrow what you can complete today.

make your list of things to do. your boss might have told you what is most important.if not, then you need to decide which one is the most important, try marking them 1 to 10 and work from that list..

Work your way through by importance. If you reach to goals that are of equal importance do that one that can be finished quickly first.

Start with the items that involve human contact. If you have calls to make, make them. People to see, see them. Paper should come last. Paper can wait.
