I was hit by a car and lived.
But what if at that point I died to all that knew me at that time just not to myself.
I mean if a person dies tomorro is it possible that they only die to us and continue on in there own life.

But if you died tomorrow and carried on in your own life - don't you think you would look up all the people you knew just to say hi!!

Repetition without end would be utter hell. After a thousand years of life, would you be bored or not? How about after 100,000 years?

There have been over 100 billion humans who have walked the earth since homosapiens first appeared, wouldn't the afterlife be a bit crowded? Do the spirits of the Neandertals and the other 15 huminid species that are now extinct inhabit the afterlife too or would they have their own afterlives? If you're a spirit, would it matter? And a follow-up question, how much space will everyone take up?

a more beneficial positive question is why would you opt to stay continuously. you could nicely accept the present of eternal life, even if it really is likewise a curse. you could stay your life as many pick, to marry and performance little ones, yet even as time comes you'll stay longer than your kinfolk. As you attain thirty, your spouse is on 80-seven, so is it nicely worth it? some would say convinced, yet one had a present awhile back and is now lost from the worlds view, legend says that he lived previous the age of 9 Hundred and 40-Six. So once you imagine about residing to a particular age, that's no longer that undesirable. even if, if human beings lived longer then conventional, the commercial gadget will be at an all time intense. A study back in (1998) confirmed that there have been over 40 Billion human beings in the international on my own, so that's been 16 years and now there is over Seventy Billion, if human beings lived continuously, there will be nicely over Six-Hundred Quaddrillion human beings in the international.

Yes, you live forever whether you choose to believe it or not. Of course you also live in the memories of those who knew you, but they remember you as a body and the actions you did. You are a spiritual being and you have no choice in the matter regarding your eternal existence. Most people (like 99.99% of the planet it seems) don't remember having lived before, but I am one of the unfortunate ones who does remember.

Let me put it this way: have you ever heard of anyone, ever, who has lived on beyond, ooh, roughly 120 years? 140 at the outside?

If you lived on in your own life, but not in anybody else's, then this reply would only be a figment of your imagination. But you'll never know if it is or not, until you stop worrying about it.

it is certain that we live forever

and by common sense not by religion or just pretending

that invisible non-thing you readily identify as you: has it changed in many years? - no - you remain exactly you over time, through childhood, adulthood and age - but your body changes in that time - therefore you are not your body

[the same thing cannot change and completely notchange in the same time period]

all bodies change constantly - every form or shape is being acted on by other bodies, being changed by interaction with other bodies, as everything moves about - even solid stationary things are jigging around madly on the atomic level

since 'you' doesnt change for decades, it is clearly not a body, which changes all the time - your personality changes so is clearly part of your body

so 'you' has no form, so cannot be de-formed - it has no shape, no size, no characteristics, so cannot change - you cant cut it in half, bend it, break it, mold it, move it, bang it, beat it, stab it, shoot it

it is identical with the singularity, the energy that cannot be created or destroyed - your 'you' is timeless, spaceless, creative, energetic, everlasting, changeless, unlimited, unbound, indestructible

you HAVE a body - you possess a body - the body you have is a possession, it is not you - a body is a visible thing, you are invisible - you are energy, creativity, imagination, infinite potential, unlimited energy, perfect, happy, beautiful, divine, sublime, creator

it is the nature of creativity to put itself into bodies, to create - so as soon as you lose a body, you get another body, because infinity is in love with finity - it loves creating - it is an artist, loving to produce works of art - bodies

it is the nature of creativity to create, and its nature is changeless - it always has and always will create - it is always pouring itself forth as bodies - like a fountain, always pouring forth drops that sparkle in the sun

bodies are finite, and exist for finite time, but energy, creativity, is infinite, 'outside' time, 'before' time, timeless - like electrons, which have infinite energy to race around the nucleus forever - billions of times a second

[but atoms are still matter and can be destroyed]

that invisible formless energy that is you is consciousness, beauty, peace, fulfillment, divineness, sublimity, immortality, uncreated, perfect, love, bliss, happiness

learn to stroke that self and it purrs pure joy

We cannot continue to live for ever physically. However, we can live forever in the minds of people depending on our acts of omission or commission that goes into the annals after our departure from the earth.

We die when the scientist lets us die, or causes us to, or accidentally drops us out of our jar like he did Larry Feinstein last week.

One helluva life, being a brain in a jar. I am petitioning for some really sleazy action very soon.

Well, scientists predict that in 30-40 years time, they can transfer all your information from your brain to a storage device.
Just say goodbye to your old body and live as a cyborg.

All live for ever....
Just the body changes and memory gets cleared.
New life starts in a new body.. that's all.

This process goes on until we reach the perfection the creator expects.
