I realized a while back that the fashion industry was a racket, so I decided to opt out of the whole mess. I wear classic clothes that don't go out of style and that look good on me. I wear what pleases me, not what the fashion industry dictates. They love synthetics. I dislike them. They love miniskirts and revealing clothes. I do not. They say buy nylons that run or rip two seconds after you put them on. I say use them for lint traps. I can't afford to buy the shoddy things. Keep 'em! I'm not getting sucked into that merry-go-round anymore.

Wide belts are out and don't bother to wear up high on your torso either. As of New York Fashion week wide belts are out and the hipline has gone down as well.
