4 cards per $5 means $1.25 per card.

3 cards per $5 means $1.6666 per card.

Profit is .4166666 per card.

You need 80 sales of 3 cards each, 240 cards.

Check. 240 cards cost 240/4 * $5 = $300
240 cards sell 240/3 * 5 = $400

Difference is $100

ok i havent done this in a while but i would say
244
I got it like this.....

you buy the cards for 4 for $5 which means you paid 1.25 per card

you sell for 3 for $5 which means you sell for 1.66 per card.

you are therfore making a .41 profit on each card.

take the 100.00 profit you are looking for and divide it by .41 you get 243.902cards therefore 244 cards

check your answer this way-

u paid 1.25per card for 244cards = 305.00 you paid

u sell for 1.66 per card for 244cards = 405.04 you make

take 405.04-305.00 and you get a profit of 100.04
