i can't wait to see the new movie coming out called "The Departed", starring Matt Damon, Leonardo D., Jack Nicholson, Mark Wahlberg, and a bunch of other stars. Anybody else wants to see this movie too ? And, is it really a remake of some other movies (does anyone know) ??

Yes it is a remake of a Hong Kong movie "Infernal Affairs", it was done in 2002. And yes I can't wait to see it .

Of course it's a remake , You numbnut. It said it everywhere. but if you watch anything about the movie on tv , they never mention that it's a remake of the Hong kong movie. That Hollywood for ya... never giving the original movie credit for their work

I don't think so. I just read a few reviews, and it doesn't mention anything about it being a remake. I know I can't wait to see it.

I just checked www.imdb.com and it doesn't appear to be a remake.
