Best advice might be for the afflicted person to get the opinion of his physician as to the type of mattress that would offer the best results. Chances are that the physician would recommend a particular firmness and leave the decision as to brand up to the patient. In the end, the best mattress, no matter the brand, is the one that feels the best to the person who must sleep on it.

That one is a very difficult one to answer BECAUSE each individual is different.. You could go for the number bed but talk about pricey... You could go for the therapeutic beds with that special foam mattress but pricey also... My best advice as I tell others is to go to a mattress store and actually lay on them and find out which one best suits your dad.

I'd say go with "Select Comfort". They're hard to beat....and they never get "old & lumpy"
