Isn't this considered to be "intent to deliever" in most places and a pretty serious charge? If so, how can Willie Nelson be "on the road again"? To go along with majic shrooms..See link..

Well, the average person in Michigan would be looking towards life in the grey bar hotel. . .

Now where have you been? Don't you know that the laws apply differently to celebrities in this country? Let's examine things, shall we?

-Michael Jackson: suspected child molestor allowed to turn himself in? And twice being accused, and twice found not guilty? And parents still allow their young boys to have sleep overs with the 40 some year old man???

-Robert Blake: murder. And he doesn't know who did it, but he didn't. And the jury agreed.

-Mel Gibson: DWI twice? And he still has the ability to drive?? And never spent a day in jail??

-O.J.: The biggie. All of the evidence they had against him, and he was still found innocent. He was allowed to turn himself in, got to be out on bail during the trial even though he attempted to flee from the police.

Looking at all of these (there are more, but these are the ones that come to mind at the moment), do you think that any "average Joe" would have been allowed the same priviledges? Not on your life.

We have the best justice system that money can buy.

Yeah man...... a pound and a half should be good for some SERIOUS jail time for posession and intent to distribute. You let one of these rappers or gangstas get busted like that and you'll see 'em on the news getting hauled in. If that's what (all) they do in LA for posession of that much pot, look out. This might set a bad precedent for posession cases after this.

They were charged with misdemeanor possession. So, essentially, no big deal in this state. It varies from state to state just how much will get you in real trouble.
