whats the best way i could surprise my boyfriend on our anniversary. we are going out to eat and we won't have a house for ourselves. so make the best out of it!

While you are at dinner have a cake sent to your tabel and have the waiters/waitresses sing to him. Write a little poem or a note expressing your love for him and have the waiter/waitress serve it to him during dinner.

The best gift I ever got was a homemade card with magazine cutouts of our shared interests, a pic of us, and her caring words. That was years ago and things didn't work out, but to this day that card is my Gold standard for memorable gifts from the heart.
