They don't believe you because it is a seldom reported occurrence. It is entirely possible to have an erection w/o being in a situation that is physically or emotionally appealing and to have that erection used w/o the WILLING consent of it's owner. I had a friend that was raped by 3 women and people didn't take him seriously when he told them (they thought he was bragging when he was really complaining) so he just quit talking about it but that doesn't mean that it didn't HAPPEN.

Because it's uncommon, but it does happen. And for all you smart-asses, you body can respond physically to stimuli even if you don't want it to. Like babies, they can have erections, and they're not trying to have sex. I'm sorry to hear what you've been through and don't encourage these people by giving details. The only people you need to be telling are cops and if they don't listen, tell another one or go above their heads. This is a serious issue that shouldn't be taken lightly and don't let these jerks answering your question discourage you. You deserve justice just like anybody else. Good Luck!!!

I guess it's just weird to think of a guy being raped, because you think about the fact that if he wasn't turned on he wouldn't have gotten an erection, hence rape couldn't really take place. However, people don't realize that men can be raped with foreign objects, just like women.

because in most cases, it is the man who rapes the woman. Also, many probably question it because of the fact that in order for sex to take place between a man and a woman, wouldn't the man need to be "turned on" so to speak? I'm not saying I don't believe you. I'm just trying to answer your question about why people doubt it.

If a woman wanted to rape you and you were scared, you would not be able to get an erection. The only way for a woman to rape you is if she inserted an object into you.

well first of all, how can a man be raped when in order for anything to happen really he would have to get an erection and i would think that that could only happen if u were turned on, but im only a woman so i really don't have a clue about that stuff, but i guess anything is possible
