Hezbollah are the winners clearly
unless u see killing the maximum number of civilians considered victory..
while Hezbollah tried to limit civilians casualties
Israel tried to maximize it

Israel goals:
destroy Hezbollah
and have the soldiers back in less than a week
results:
lost 100 and more soldiers
couldn't destroy Hezbollah in more than 32 days
didnt retrieve the two soldiers even with US money weapons , smart bombs and f16

Hezbollah's goals:
free the Arab prisoners from the Israeli prisons
to show the whole world that Israel is not as strong as they say

both goals achieved
Hezbollah r preparing for a victory rally

Ok we know that Lebanon was the biggest loser.

Followed by Hezbollah because they live in Lebanon and no longer have homes and jobs. Well they now have jobs at rebuilding.

I would say Israel was the out front winner. They have already replaced all the bombs thay used and are ready to go at it again if needed. And was not weakened in anyway and sent out a strong message that Islam better stay away or die.

What do you think?

Edit,

I made my above statement before I read your link. I see that I said the same thing it did but I did not add in the fact tht Iran lost in that war as well.

Definitely Hezbollah...Israel wanted to destroy Hezbollah and free the 2 soldiers...Well Hezbollah is more stronger than ever, the 2 soldiers are still captive...And in the end it seems that Israel is going to negotiate for the release of their 2 soldiers...So the only thing that Israel did was destroy Lebanon and kill as many civilians as they could...
Hezbollah didn't lose many men and now there are more Lebanese that support them...

If you think what the Republicans were saying when the bombing started. You'd say God won the battle. The Republican Congress, as it blocked all efforts for a cease-fire, said that Israel is doing God's work. They actually used the words "Lord's Work".

There are actuallly NO winners in a war or conflict. If everything is considered all involved are losers. Pops
