You need to go see a doctor to document your pain as soon as possible. If you should need continued care (chiropractor, doctor visits, etc) their insurance company would have to pay. Don't wait any longer. If you have an urgent care, go there.
Yes, your pain is more than likely from the accident. Your lower back may not have been injured, but if your neck was, it can throw your whole spine out of alignment because it's compensating for the pain in your neck.

A person can have lower back problems due to accidents. Even minimal shocks such as sneezing can cause disc to herniate or slip causing severe back pain. Muscle strains are more common, however, muscle problems are tender to touch. Disc pain is generally deaper, near the spine, and usually hurt with movement. At any rate, the other person's insurance will likely pay for a doctor to check you out.

It is completely normal to be stiff and sore for a couple days after an accident. The worse is usually the second day, then your muscles will start recovering. If you have any feelings of pinched nerves, numbness, or any other symptoms causing concern, I would suggest going straight to an emergency room.

of course-whiplash is very common in rear enders aswell as lower back pain. go to the doctor and get it checked out and claim your expenses from the other persons insurance

its a strong possiblity considering your neck is sore. i woulld suggest going and getting an xray if its bothering you alot you can go to an acute care center.
