How do I get A's in my report Card, I try my best, but don't get Geometry!

One big thing that helps is to read the book ahead of time. It probably won't make much sense and actually that's ok. But you'd be surprised how much more sense the class will make if you are at least a tiny bit familiar with what's coming.

Other than that, speak up and ask questions if you don't understand something in class. If you are confused, chances are someone else is confused about the same thing.

If you still are struggling, let you teacher know. He/she may be able to arrange extra help, or there might be an after-school tutoring program.

If all else fails, just keep doing the best you can and try not to stress too much. All you can do is the best you can do. Some people just don't get geometry. It's not the end of the world. Good luck!

It would not be tragic if you did not get an A in Geometry. sometimes a B or a C is a more realistic goal. I'm a math tutor, and I have found that most people are algebra people or geometry people, but not both. Some people (a minority) are good in both; those are the people who major in math and the hard sciences in college.

You might need to get some extra help; is tutoring provided at your school? Sometimes a classmate who is very good in geometry is the best tutor. A paid tutor is expensive, but may be an option if you can afford it.

Good luck to you, and please don't give up!

It's still early in the school year. For me Geometry was a pain in the Angle Side Side but I feel I had a lame textbook and a lame teacher. None of the answers were in the back of the book, preventing me from knowing when I needed to rework a problem! :-(

Do a little every day and hopefully a lot some days. Take a break from it if you want to do another subject, then try coming back to it later that same day.

Well...if you do your best, get help (tutoring, extra help from your teacher), you are a success independent of the grade. You will soon discover that the most important take away is the work ethics, habits you develop in your school years.

So, do not get fixated with the grade...just work your tail off, ask questions, and practice...and the rest is beyond your control.

Good luck.
