touch boxes are fun
spaghetti for intestines, jello for a brain, ect....
dry ice is fun to put in a couldron of punch. just make sure you don't serve any of the ice in a glass.
make cute cookies too, like spiders with licorice legs etc....
carving pumpkins is a fun activity at a halloween party, and then baking the seeds for some homemade pumpkin seed goodness!
depending on ages attending-you could have scary shaped sugar cookies ready to decorate. or rent some classic scary movies, like the original texas chainsaw or faces of death. or silly scary ones, like leprachaun etc...
you can buy really cheap scary sounds cds for the perfect background noise.
you could have someone pretend to be a physic and read palms and tarot cards and tea leaves and stuff. that kind of thing is always fun, especially if you do some research and really get into it.
and of course-make costumes a requirement!!!!!!!!!!!!

make a torcher chamber...That can be fun have some skeletons with old raggedy looking cloths on them and stuff like that make sure you have a block for choping heads off with
