The 60's had Star trek, the Rat Patrol, Green Hornet, Leave it to Beaver and so on, the 70's had Kungfu,M.A.S.H, Hawaii five-O, Good times, the Jeffersons, Are You Being Served?, Starsky and Hutch, Fawlty Towers and the rest of em, the 80's had the A-team, Miami vice, Hill Street blues, Night Rider, Macgyver, Magnum P.I, Hard Castle and Mackormick,Cheers and all those unforgettable tv series with dem wicked themes, the 90's gave us Friends, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed and ER just to mention a few and finally the 00's continue to entertain us with the Sopranos, Smallville,CSI,Desperate Housewives, Prison Break etc

Really which period do you think gave us the most memorable and enjoyable music themes?

I'm an 80's kid, Cosby Show, Family Ties, Growing Pains, Gimmie a Break, Facts of Life... now a days, I don't even watch TV.

I'd like to combine the 70's and 80's because you had Welcome Back Carter(scored by Jon Sebastion of The Loving Spoonful) in the mid to late 70's along with Sanford and Son, but in the 80's you had Bosom Buddies(Billy Joel) and The Facts of Life. Those are the ones I catch myself singing.

Special mention to The theme form It's Gary Shandling's Show in the 90's. I remembered this song 2 days ago and have been singing it ever since.

hm....well i think that the 90's had great music. and great themes and the 00's has good themes too. the 70's and 80's had some good ones too, but not as many as the other decades.

60's, no doubt. "Addams Family", "Get Smart", "Jonny Quest", to name but a few...
