I am convinced it is true; due to years of abuse my memory is terrible and other mental faculties have been altered/damaged. Beware. Use at your own risk. When you're older and realize you're NOT immortal, that's when you start noticing the terrible things you've done to yourself...

An early study reported brain damage in rhesus monkeys after six months exposure to high concentrations of marijuana smoke. In a recent, more carefully conducted study, researchers found no evidence of brain abnormality in monkeys that were forced to inhale the equivalent of four to five marijuana cigarettes every day for a year. The claim that marijuana kills brain cells is based on a speculative report dating back a quarter of a century that has never been supported by any scientific study.

From the research that I have done marijuana does not kill brain cells. If that was true my sister-in-law would have been dead years ago; as she will smoke about twenty per-day.
I do know that "Alcohol" will kill many brain cells, millions after each quart consumed.

It has not been proven that it kills brain cells, that is propaganda spread by the government. If it does kill brain cells it kills less than cigarettes or alcohol. I've been smoking for seven or eight years and I haven't had any problems.
