It means that when something bad happens in life you should try and turn it to your advantage. So even when something looks difficult or inconvenient you should look for something that you can use to make your life better. For instance, if you have to park your car at the back of the lot, instead of whining about how far you have to walk, think about how much exercise you will get and how much weight you'll lose.

Well, I'll simplify it:
Make a positive opportunity out of misfortune. Or, you have to play with the cards your dealt in life.
So, if I hand you lemons, what can you do with them? Make lemonade. Turn around and sell it, and you'll have money to get something else.

Its kind of like roll with it.
The lemons are sour but they make good lemonade.
Maybe most memories are like that too. Kind of sour but if you add a little sugar and drink them, it makes a nice drink.
