That would make Bush look like he made a mistake. And since apparently big dog has been perfect from the beginning (despite all the mistakes that have occurrred, he insists those mistakes are from Democrats refusing to let him have dictatorial power), he cannot shake hands with Ahmadinejad because it would make him look human again (with the ability to fail every once in a while).
