At The Drive In, they're just better. They both experiment with different sounds but At The Drive In is just better at it. They have like those type of songs that stay in your head all day, like "One Armed Scissor' after i hear it in my head i'm singing 'cut away, cut away, send transmission to the one armed scissor' haha yeah so At The Drive In for sure.

At The Drive-In by a whisker.
I like the experimentation of Mars Volta, and their latest album is pretty good, but nothing can compare with At The Drive-In songs like Napoleon Solo, Initiation, Metronome Arthritis & Invalid Letter Dept. Those songs give me chills whenever I listen to them.
