Not everyone shares your appreciation, but I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they're obviously fertile, and fertility is sexy.
In addition, pregnancy can be a time for a lot of women when they feel more confident about their bodies, they're doing something they were designed to do and doing it well. Confidence is attractive too.
Of course, if you're basing it off catalogues then perhaps it's just the airbrushing? ;)

women generally look better as they near the end of their pregnancy because it is mother natures way of giving them some thing to work with cos after having a baby women have imbalanced hormones what are trying to get back to normal after the new born baby has been draining her body of all its calcium and other minerals and so on . this is also why women get funny eating habits while they are pregnant mistakenly women think this is what they want to eat but its just the minerals and so that the baby needs to grow inside mummy for 9 months

i don't get guys like you - what is so sexy about a pregnant woman? Is it the fact that (if she's with someone else) it's something you can't have? Something forbidden? Is that what turns it into a fantasy?
The two times i was preggers there was a guy that was obsessed with me. He wasnt interested in me before or after each one, just during!

Well,I'm sure your admiration is appreciated by all pregnant women out there but to be perfectly honest with you,I don't understand the attraction,I know they have some magazines and websites of pregnant women doing all kind of sexual acts but you'll entitled to your own fetishes.

You might like to ask whether you mean 'they are sexy' - in that they themselves feel 'sexual,' or that it is your personal perception of them as being 'sexy' because you are aroused by a woman being pregnant!
To say 'this woman is sexy' does suggest both possibles.....
1) that she feels it, or
2) that you feel it.
Of course, it could be both, but your phraseology is is ambiguous.
