My best friend is dating a jerk. When ever we talk together about him, she always has a lot to say. But when we go up to him to tlk to him, she always makes me do it. The fact that he calls her "his girl" is so rude. She is not an object. Plus he rarley says hi to her, and then he exspects her to say hi to him. And he hangs out with other girls, when she is right there. What should I do to help my friend, before her relationship goes spiraling down the tube.

It's HER relationship! He'll keep on treating her that way as long as she doesn't have the guts to stand up for herself, & you aren't helping by being her backbone.

Neither you or your friend can change this guy. Only he can do that & only when he's good & ready.

If you want to help your friend try to help her save herself, not her "relationship" as you call it. I guess you could call it that, but I can't see why anyone with any self respect would volunteer for that kind of treatment. I've had enemies that I've given more respect to than he shows to her.
Really is there a man on Earth that is worth degrading yourself that much over?

She probably wouldnt listen and telling her how you feel might put a crock into your friendship. He does sound like a total jerk...why not do nothing and hope that soon, really soon she finds this out for herself and dumps him!

Sorry to say this, but it is none of your business. If your friend can't find the courage to tell him how she feels, you surely shouldn't butt in. Just be there to listen to her complains, but you have no right to get involved in their relationship.

stop enabling her to use you as a conduit for communication... stay out of it, its her problem to handle ... she needs to learn to speak for herself, she wont grow if you talk for her
