Your right, your not stuck on yourself and you need to be! First of all you will have just as much fun being a women as you would a man if you stop trying to please them! I'm not saying being a b*tch or anything but don't think that you have to change for a relationship. There is a vast world out there for you to have fun discovering without a man.

Don't run from the problem. I bet there is someone out there that can put a smile on your face and vice verse! I know this may sound weird but Match.com really works. If you want to move that's up to you but don't move if its going to jeopardize anything like work or school.
Black guys are sometimes intimidated by black women. Just continue to be who you are and you'll find someone right for you when the time is right!
Good Luck! And Don't Change for anyone!

Don't try. Be happy with who you are. If you really want someone, try an online dating service, or have a friend set you up on a blind date. This way you can meet new people without the worry of making it last. It will put your mind at ease and allow you to be yourself. Good Luck and don't worry. Mr. Right is out there waiting just for you!

I am a man and I have gone through all the emotions that you expressed here. I work, go home, do hobbies such as playing my keyboard and going on the internet. What I am learning (and this is recently) that there are many many people out there who are not so different from us. Loneliness seems to be a way of life. It doesn't have to be permanent.

Be patient, enjoy this time that u could go out with friends, and don't worry. We all go thru some bad times u'll find the right guy when the time comes. Its weird because the more we look, the less likely we'll find some one, as soon as we stop caring there they come. Good luck turn that frown upside down. : )

You're tall, intelligent and have a good personality. That makes you very intimidating to most men. Look for a tall persons group in your area like Tall Clubs International. Maybe you'll meet people that will really appreciate you. http://www.tall.org/gb.cfm?CFID=232027&CFTOKEN=58891072

you can't meet people if you don't interact with people. So you need to get out more and have a bit more fun and stop worrying about your apperance. Stop letting your height and your looks be an excuse for you not to go out and have a good time and enjoy life. The guys are out there is up to you to go out and meet them. g'luck.

first of all, do the things you like to do and you will find men there with common interests, stop trying to fit into a world you dont like and be yourself in a world you enjoy .... dont be ethnic driven to conform to a side of your "culture" that you dislike, there are plenty of well educated and erudite black men (if that is your preference) available and you will find them in the places you seem to like best ... museums, quality stage plays, and other places you may like ... start reading your books Starbucks or in library's or fine hotels once a month ... be yourself and go out and do things you enjoy doing ... when you stop looking for mr right, he will find you ... men really love a statuesque woman with elegence . your tastes may run to upscale semi-urban ... get out of the burbs and involved in some local theatre productions

Well, come here to Montreal Canada ... I don't care about your height, I don't differentiate between races. If you're a good person, we'll get along just fine!
