all of the information i entered was "false" or something. and when i re-enter the original info (name birthday etc) it says its wrong!!! and when i ask it to send me my password to my email on hotmail its sending it to an email that doesnt exist!!! i dont even have hotmail and its sending it to there!!

If you are being asked for an ID login for your Ipod, not Itunes you a probably being scammed. Go to www.itunes.com to get the real Itunes.

you actually dont need your apple ID or anything like that. i have had my IPOD for 3 years now and i have never had to use it. i can still download the new updates and all of that. i dont understand why you would need it.
