Not wombats - an Australian animal, but womRATS. Another word for guinea pig or hamster like animal.

Somewhere along the line someone who doesn't read very carefully misspelled it and changed womRAT into totally different species that is found in Australia and is not a safe pet animal (womBAT), but you know how people get. LOL
